A total of 71 homes are set to be built

Belfast Harbour has submitted a formal planning application to Belfast City Council for a proposed new affordable housing development in the latest phase of its City Quays masterplan. The area currently includes commercial offices, retail, and multi-storey car parking, as well as the AC by Marriott Hotel and planned new City Quays Gardens which will provide new public space for local and visiting communities.

The affordable housing proposals follow Belfast Harbour’s submission in December of a planning application for its City Quays 4 building, which seeks to create 256 new build-to-rent apartments on a vacant site on Donegal Quay between the M3 bridge and the AC by Marriott Hotel. "It is our hope that these new homes will help address some of the live and pressing need for affordable housing, including social rented homes, for families and individuals in Belfast.
