A Plano mom’s kids are taking up odd jobs to help the family offset expenses amid rising inflation that is at a 40-year high,“I just thought it would be a great way to cultivate community, to help my family do things together and make some extra money,” Lisa Jackey told the TV station.
She told NBC5 that her kids liked the idea, so she posted on her online neighborhood forum on NextDoor with the title, “Family for Hire.”
