Family Place Libraries are designed to provide a welcoming environment and resources to help families nurture their children’s early development and learning. In 2015, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission launched the project to help public libraries ensure that all children enter school ready and able to learn.The model is in more than 400 libraries in 29 states and serves thousands of young children and their parents and caregivers.Teri Webster.
