Planned power cuts moved to stage 4 🕯️ ECRNewsWatch Loadshedding Stage4
The power utility had previously announced that load shedding will be moved from stage 2 to stage 3 from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning.
Eskom had stated that stage 2 was to continue being implemented from 5am to 4pm daily until further notice. In a short statement, the utility stated that stage 4 loading was to be implemented due to delayed returns of generating units. "Due to further breakdowns and delayed returns of generating units to service, stage 4 load shedding will be implemented from 09:00 this morning until further notice. Eskom will publish a full statement in due course," said spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha.
