officers received a bid to erect 84 flats on the land adjacent to 157 Pendeen Street, near Garrowhill train station, in Barlanark.According to the documents, applicant Springfield Properties PLC hopes to create an"affordable" housing scheme made out of one to five-bedroom homes, 10% of which will be designed with wheelchair users in mind.It will also be created as a"20-minute neighbourhood", meaning that most of people’s daily needs will be met within a short walk or cycle.
