in the popular Jersey Shore town.
Mita, the CEO of Icona Resorts, which operates eight other luxury hotels in Atlantic and Cape May counties, said the number of hotel rooms available in Ocean City has plummeted as older motels got knocked down and new condos and massive homes were built.Gillian didn’t explain in his brief letter why he opposed the hotel, though he has said previously that he opposes high-rises along the two-and-a-half mile long Boardwalk.
