putrajaya KEMENTERIAN Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) menyambut baik pengumuman Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin melanjutkan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) ke fasa keempat.

Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, pelanjutan dua minggu PKP iaitu antara 29 April ini sehingga 12 Mei memberi ruang kepada kerajaan memerangi penularan Covid-19 secara habis-habisan.

"Tindakan ini dapat dijalankan lebih berkesan dengan bantuan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan dan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Diperketatkan . "Sepanjang tempoh pelaksanaan PKP fasa ketiga ini, kita melihat trend jumlah kes baharu Covid-19 lebih terkawal tanpa kenaikan mendadak. Dr Noor Hisham berkata, penting bagi kerajaan mempunyai ruang memerangi penularan Covid-19 secara habis-habisan sebelum dapat dinilai semula tahap keberkesanan serta keadaan semasa jangkitan Covid-19.
