Thanks to 2021’s high profile launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google has - for the first time - climbed into the top three premium handsets.
That position is going to put the Pixel in front of more consumers. Put aside those that will automatically ask for an iPhone and the easy iOS/Android head to head that will be the iPhone versus Samsung’s Galaxy S handsets. When a consumer decides they want a premium Android smartphone and retail staff are looking to offer the popular handsets… well, Google’s Pixel has earned its place at the table.
