The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed defensive back Kyler McMichael.

McMichael joined the team during training camp but was released shortly after its conclusion and never found a place in the NFL on a practice squad for the entire season.
Over three preseason games, McMichael played just 34 snaps at outside cornerback or dime cornerback. He struggled throughout training camp, but will look to bounce back this time around. An undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in the 2022 NFL Draft, McMichael signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to start his career. When the Buccaneers cut him, McMichaelwith the Buffalo Bills on their practice squad and would be claimed off waivers when the Bills released him in 2023.an injury. He did not play the rest of the 2023 season before the Steelers snapped him up on July 30.
