Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury, meaning the Pittsburgh Steelers will not see him in Week 1.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore runs the ball against the Dallas Cowboys during the first half of an NFL football game, Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, in Glendale, Ariz. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury after being carted off during one of the team’s training camp practices.
The Falcons could try to replace Moore’s dynamic ability in the offense. With Kirk Cousins coming into town under new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, they will likely run a more traditional dropback approach. Moore was officially placed on injured reserve Thursday, and that means his season is already over. The 24-year-old Moore is best known for his electrifying performance against Ohio State while playing at Purdue, but he has failed to reach the heights he did in college. The Falcons were hoping that the change is scenery would help Moore jolt his career after a disappointing start.
