The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered two injuries while two others were banged up against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 18-10 but did not come out of the game unscathed on the injury front. Punter Cameron Johnston suffered what head coach Mike Tomlin described as a ‘serious injury’ and is likely to miss a lot of time. Johnston will have an MRI on hissuffered a potential concussion. Tomlin does not show for sure if it is a concussion, but Rush is being evaluated for one, and if he does have it, he will have to go through all of the concussion protocols.
As far as the rest of the team, Tomlin described cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr. and Donte Jackson as having ‘bumps and bruises’. Both players left the game early but did end up returning. In the locker room, trainers checked both players, looking at their arms. Since they returned, it is likely that both players will be okay, but in the event that they must miss time, Rush’s injury will loom large. Cory Trice Jr.
