The Pittsburgh Steelers have elevated cornerback James Pierre from the practice squad to the active roster for their game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Pierre should slot in as a gunner on special teams a week after the Steelers signed him for that role.
Pierre played for the Steelers from 2020 to 2023 but signed a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders.
