The Pittsburgh Steelers could see Montravius Adams and Cory Trice return.
Trice has been out since Week 3, when he suffered a hamstring strain. He has until Thursday to be activated from injured reserve, but if he is not, thewill lose Trice for the season. He had two limited practices to end last week, but was ruled out quickly. The Steelers would have to make a roster move to accommodate Trice’s return.
Adams, meanwhile, suffered a torn meniscus in practice before the team’s game against the New York Jets. After suffering the injury, he had surgery, and was already running a little over a month after the injury. Now, he could return, but the Steelers wanted to get his feet back under him before rushing him back onto the field. Dean Lowry has served as the Steelers' backup nose tackle while Keeanu Benton continues to start.
