The Allegheny County Police Department said one suspect was arrested after he allegedly told American Airlines gate workers that he had a bomb in his luggage.
Allegheny County police said Hossein Dehnavifard, a 37-year-old Iranian national, was arrested Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
He then allegedly told the American Airlines gate agents that his luggage contained a bomb. At least two airline workers confirmed hearing the comment to the police.American Airlines at Pittsburgh International returned to normal operations after police briefly closed the B-concourse.
