Organizers with the Pitchfork Music Festival announced that festival gates had reopened Saturday evening roughly an hour after the fest was halted due to potentially severe weather moving into the area.
Around 5 p.m., patrons were directed to exits and told to seek shelter as a line of thunderstorms approached from the west. “Due to dangerous weather conditions, Pitchfork Fest is evacuating,” the tweet announced in a since-deleted tweet. “Please calmly and quickly leave the festival grounds and find shelter nearby.”We have re-opened the gates to the festival. You can enter at the main gate on Ashland or on Ogden/Washington. Stay tuned for set time updates.
