This move of the government, Perez said, had become a subtle way to effectively phaseout the old jeepney units. “Daghan na nga gigutom nga pamilya sa mga driver tungod pipila ra man ang nakadawat, wa gani kaabot sa 1 percent sa miyembro namo ang nakadawat sa yuda. Hurot-hurot na ang pondo sa mga driver ug lubong na sa utang ang uban tungod sa kataas sa panahon nga wala nay pasada,” Perez told CDN Digital via phone.
