Pismo Beach Sees Decrease in Crime During First Half of 2025

The Pismo Beach Police Department announced a decrease in both property and violent crimes during the first half of 2025, while traffic stops and collisions saw an increase. The report, presented to the City Council, showed a 2% decrease in person crimes and an 18% decrease in property crimes compared to the previous year.
