The Philippine Science High School (PSHS) – CALABARZON Region Campus in Batangas City was hailed as the Outstanding School in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) Heat Round during the awarding ceremony on Nov. 15.

The Philippine Science High School – CALABARZON Region Campus in Batangas City was hailed as the Outstanding School in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Heat Round during the awarding ceremony on Nov. 15.

According to Campus Director Jose Andaya, Pisay-CALABARZON mathletes train regularly after their regular school hours by answering math problems with different levels of difficulty and ranging from the different fields of math, namely logic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics among others.

Winning gold medals are Zach Randolf Enriquez, Harry Gerard Perez, Norton Fumera II, Vienne Stephanie Delos Santos, Jyuan Miguel Bendo, Mikaela Ysabel Valdez, and Gadriel Symone Dalangin.
