In July, Lorch had his sentencing postponed to today after he made a brief appearance at the Randburg Magistrates Court in Johannesburg.The football star had been found guilty in June of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Fundiswa Nokuphiwa Mathithibala in 2020. After another brief appearance at the Randburg Magistrates Court, the 30-year-old has had his sentencing postponed yet again.Lorch is yet to feature for the Soweto giants so far in the 2023/24 season.The Buccaneers previously reported that the player was injured although he has since made progress and resumed training.
It is not yet clear when the former PSL Footballer of the Season will make coach Jose Riveiro’s matchday squads after he missed the team’s most recent game on Sunday against Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 in Cape Town.
