Josh Palacios hit a two-run home run in the 10th inning to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 6-4 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game series.

Against Phillies left-hander Andrew Vasquez , with automatic runner Jared Triolo at second base, Palacios hit his second homer of the season to right field.Pittsburgh left-hander Rich Hill allowed two runs and five hits in five innings, with seven strikeouts and three walks. Left-hander Angel Perdomo pitched a scoreless 10th inning to earn the win.

Philadelphia starter Cristopher Sanchez pitched five no-hit innings, allowing five baserunners -- three hit batters and two walks. He struck out three. Pittsburgh had a baserunner in each of the first five innings despite being held without a hit. Sanchez was pulled after 73 pitches with the Phillies quickly taking advantage.

In the seventh inning, against Pirates left-hander Jose Hernandez, Garrett Stubbs walked and went to second on Johan Rojas' sacrifice bunt. Kyle Schwarber walked.
