Orlando Pirates have five strikers in Kermit Erasmus, Souaibou Marou, Evidence Makgopa, Zakhele Lepasa and Mabasa.
Orlando PiratesMabasa is currently in talks with Romanian outfit FCSB for a possible deal that could see him link up with former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana., who also revealed that several other clubs have also shown huge interest.
Mabasa recalled from a loan spell with Moroka Swallows where he had already scored six goals, and he has added five more since rejoining Bucs. Furthermore, Cassisa revealed that Pirates are prepared to cash-in on Mabasa whose contract with them expires in June 2026.“The best advice I have given him is to put his head down and get the goals,” Cassisa told. “One goal per game will leave him with a better chance of winning the Golden Boot and also to score more and achieve the same in the Nedbank Cup.
“The good thing is that Pirates are ready to sell and also open up space for upcoming youngsters. So, we wait until the season ends.
