Based on David Ezra Stein's children's book series of the same name, the Apple TV+ show centers on the young chicken Piper as she lets her imagination run wild every time she hears a story, racing to guess what's next or insert herself into the middle of the action.
In honor of its upcoming premiere, Screen Rant can exclusively present a new Interrupting Chicken season 2 clip. The video, as seen above, finds Piper in the middle of writing an adventure involving her and two of her friends as one of them inadvertently travels to outer space. With some advice from her dad, Piper keeps the story going with specialized space suits allowing her and her other friend to chase after their human companion Mary.
What To Expect From Interrupting Chicken Season 2 Interrupting Chicken season 2 will feature the returns of its star-studded cast led by Better Call Saul and Young Jedi Adventures alum Juliet Donenfield as Piper. Joining her is fellow young returning stars Sarah Elizabeth Thompson, Klaus' Maximum Riegel, Big City Greens' Luke Lowe and Spidey and His Amazing Friends' Jakari Fraser. The cast is rounded out by three-time Emmy winner Sterling K.
In addition to the returning cast, season 2 is set to feature more exciting guest stars, including multi-Grammy winner Wyclef Jean, his second recent turn in an animated family show after appearing in multiple episodes of Netflix's Maya and the Three. Jean is also performing an original song for his appearance in the Apple TV+ show. Another confirmed guest star includes Inside Out's Paula Poundstone, though it's unclear which episodes the two will appear in.
Holsey is also returning as showrunner for Interrupting Chicken season 2 and executive producing with Stein, Loris Kramer Lunsford, and Clint Eland. With the imaginative show's return, it continues Apple TV+'s acclaimed branching into family-friendly programming alongside The Snoopy Show, which recently premiered season 3, and Duck & Goose, which similarly returned for season 2 this past July.
