Screaming MAGA fans, a man wielding a pig’s head on a stick and a heckler dressed in prison stripes being taken down by cops were among the chaotic scenes outside Donald Trump’s arraignment on Tuesday.
He was later pictured being taken down by law enforcement and cuffed after he tried to rush towards Trump’s motorcade as it left the courthouse. The younger Rodriguez, wearing a shirt that read “Jesus is my savior, Trump is my president”, questioned the fairness of the proceedings. The retired car dealer, 68, said he planned to celebrate with a $1,400 bottle of Mouton Rothschild red wine if Trump is locked away.
Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, who had stopped by the courthouse earlier Tuesday, insisted the city was ready for protests, but throughout the day things remained largely peaceful.
