Investigators in Pierce County are trying to track down the person responsible for shooting and killing a 23-year-old man in Puyallup over the weekend.
early Sunday morning near the corner of 58th Avenue E and 152nd Street E. Responding deputies found one victim in a crashed car just down the street, while three others showed up at the hospital.“We were asleep, and we heard very sudden firecrackers going off, and then it was done. We heard cars revving up and speeding away,” Chris Alexander, who lives near the shooting scene, said.
“His injuries were serious but not life-threatening, and at that point, we were kind of stuck with no other information,” Sgt. Darren Moss, Jr. with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said. “And then three more people showed up to the hospitals with serious gunshot wounds.”
