From modifying and altering the streets to erecting the 2 500-seater grandstand and fan villages, Cape Town has been a hive of activity to ready itself for the upcoming e-Prix.

A lot is riding on this event, because the success thereof will determine the city's chances of hosting the event again. Yes, a 10-year agreement is in place, but Formula E reserves the right to cancel it if certain demands are not met. Thankfully, Cape Town is on track - excuse the pun - to become a permanent fixture on the e-Prix calendar.
