The Pickett Fire burning in Calistoga has forced evacuations of residents and wineries near Pickett Road.
Last updated: Friday, August 22, 2025 12:22AM GMTEvacuations have been ordered for residents in Calistoga for a growing brush fire burning near Pickett Road. The fire is burning from the northeastern side of the city to the Silverado Trail, and several wineries are in the evacuation zone.
As of 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the fire is 0% contained and has burned at least 60 acres.Air Quality Advisory issued for several counties due to Pickett Fire An Air Quality Advisory has been issued for Sonoma, Napa and Solano counties on Thursday and Friday due to smoke from the Pickett Fire burning in Calistoga.CAL FIRE crews from the ground and the air are trying to get a handle on the Pickett Fire that broke out Thursday in Calistoga.
