Alberto, the first storm of the 2024 season, will strengthen slightly overnight before making landfall south of the U.S. border with Mexico early Thursday morning.

Forecasters are also monitoring two other potential systems that could impact coastal northern Florida on Friday. Alberto is expected to strengthen slightly overnight before making landfall early Thursday morning south of the U.S. border with Mexico.
