WHILE the Northern Lights were not as strong as predicted on Saturday night, some lucky photographers managed to snap the phenomenon above Scottish skies.
The Northern Lights did occur, but the geomagnetic activity rating was reduced from Friday's extreme G5 to a severe G3.
