Photos: A balmier-than-usual Frosty Bottom race sent fat-bikers pedaling across Anchorage today

Second-place Heather Helzer finished 1 minute and 30 seconds ahead of Sheryl Loan, who clocked in at 2:01:20. Nicholas Straka took first place again in the men’s short course race this year with a time of 1:42:15, followed by Brandon Chiu and Dave Gamez with times of 1:43:20 and 1:48:42, respectively.Warren Libby gives a “thumbs up” to race officials and spectators at the starting line.
