The Drowning Taquitos, one of the 10 Big Tex Choice Awards finalists, on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, is one of the most walker-friendly new treats at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. Hippie Chips, one of the 10 Big Tex Choice Awards finalists, involve bacon bits, green onions and a drizzle of Sriracha. Hot Chick-in-Pancake Poppers are an invention from the team behind Palmer’s Hot Chicken in East Dallas.
