Hurricane Helene devastated communities across the Southwestern United States after it came ashore along Florida's Big Bend region as a powerful Category 4 storm.In Asheville, North Carolina, at least 30 people have reportedly died due to the storm, raising the overall death toll to more than 80 people across several states.

'We were expecting somewhere around 20 feet of water and we ended up getting 31 feet of water... so I mean, it's a once in 1,000-year flood.
