After several days of rain and snow, Phoenix and the surrounding Valley will see a dramatic warm-up. Temperatures are expected to soar into the low 80s early next week, potentially reaching record highs.
Following three days of scattered rain and snow showers, conditions have dried out across the state. Friday will be a cool day in the Valley, but temperatures will be warming up this weekend. On January 31st, we'll see sunny and clear skies in Phoenix with a high temperature around 69 degrees. The Valley is expected to reach the middle 70s on Saturday and upper 70s on Sunday. It will be sunny to mostly sunny through the weekend as well.
Winds aren't expected to pick up much through the weekend, peaking around 10-15 mph at times. A significant warm-up is anticipated this weekend through early next week with temperatures warming to well-above normal levels. The National Weather Service Phoenix wrote on X, 'Afternoon high temperatures will be near record levels in Phoenix early next week.' By next week, temperatures will jump into the low 80s. Monday is expected to reach 83 degrees, with Tuesday slightly warmer at 84 degrees. Morning temperatures will climb as well. The upper 40s and low 50s are forecast for early next week.
