The centre which is known for its charity work and community upliftment has partnered with local organisations.“Yearly, the Phoenix crisis centre has also taken one of the legacies of Nelson Mandela.
Which is to care about the poor and the vulnerable people of our communities. In terms of feeding, we have taken this as an initiative to say in our 67 minutes … let’s feed the poor people as a legacy. The late President [Nelson Mandela] was passionate about the under privileged and destitute in our community.”
