The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) on Tuesday has issued a vog alert  on Taal Volcano.

A vog alert has been issued on Taal Volcano on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology .Volcanic smog was reported over the Taal Caldera at 2 p.m., while a total of 6,837 tonnes per day of volcanic sulfur dioxide was recorded since Monday.Data from the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office indicated the following areas have been affected by vog: Agoncillo Laurel Balete Sta.
