Phillip Schofield is reportedly 'trying to move on' from ex-best friend ITV star Holly Willoughby.
It appears the friendship between former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield and his co-star Holly Willoughby is officially over after the 61-year-old was spotted removing photos of the pair on his social media.
Phillip Schofield sensationally quit all ties with ITV and stepped down from television and life in the public eye after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male showrunner which he had hidden from friends, family and colleagues. And now it appears he has not only unfollowed her but has been busy deleting snaps of the pair on his Instagram page, as it is believed he wants to "leave Holly behind," and move on with his life after moving to Cornwall to be with his mum.
In his first interview after the scandal erupted, Phillip revealed he'd lost his "best friend" when he chose to conceal the truth from her. He told The Sun: "I’ve lost my best friend. I let her down . I let that entire show down. I let the viewers down. Holly did not know . And she was one of the first texts that I sent, to say, ‘I am so, so sorry that I lied to you’.
