⚾ Rhys Hoskins exited the Phillies’ game in Miami after being hit on the right hand by a pitch in his second plate appearance. He's sore and expected to miss at least a game, his manager said.
The Phillies have been hit hard by hand injuries this season. Bryce Harper missed two months with a broken left thumb. Jean Segura missed two months with a broken right index finger.
Hoskins ranks second on the team in homers and OPS and third in RBIs ."Any time a guy takes one up and in ..." said Harper, shaking his head."Look at me this year. Seggy, too. It's a bummer that it happened, but he's OK. It's good to know there's no break."
