Adam Duvall added on a run in the sixth inning by banging a leadoff homer to the bleachers in left-center field.
It started promisingly for the Phillies against Schwellenbach, who held them to one run in six innings here last month.’s single, and scored on a fielder’s choice. It wasn’t highlight-worthy, but for pushing across a first-inning run, it did the job.followed by splitting the gap in right-center for an RBI double that shaved the deficit to 3-2 and knocked Schwellenbach from the game.
