The Belgian boss is rivalling Yokohama F Marinos Kevin Muscat for the vacant Ibrox hot seat.
The two remaining runners in the race to become Rangers manager are looking to find out if they will land the hot seat - and Philippe Clement could come with some big demands.
A long-term commitment Clement appears in no rush to step into the void left by Michael Beale if he is going to be quick-fix for the Ibrox board. Record Sport understands the Belgian has concerns about taking the hot seat after after seeing the Light Blues board pull the trigger on Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale - with neither boss managing more than a year in charge.
Clement has said: "The power on the transfer market was limited by the Financial Fair Play. In the two markets 120 million came in, but we reinvested much less. Yet the ambitions remained the same with a younger group of players."
