The South Australian Labor government has launched a brazen advertising campaign to poach Victorian businesses, which is likely to cause tensions between the two state Labor premiers.
“We want to make sure that business is aware of that,” he said. “Our property tax regime in SA is a lot smaller than what it is in Victoria ... SA is an extremely competitive place to do business.” The Invest SA campaign notes data by Victoria’s Parliamentary Budget Office which shows Victorians pay $5073 a year in state taxes, compared to $2970 in SA.
