Five days after a tragic plane crash shook Northeast Philadelphia, the identity of the seventh victim killed on the ground has been revealed. The National Transportation Safety Board ( NTSB ) is diligently pursuing its investigation into the incident. On Friday, January 31st at 6:07 p.m., Medical Jet Flight 56 crashed on the 2300 block of Cottman Avenue. According to police reports, several vehicles were present on the same block at the time of the disaster.

First responders at the scene discovered a deceased individual inside one of the vehicles. A medical examiner has officially identified this victim as 37-year-old Steven Dreuitt of Philadelphia. The victims onboard the flight, all Mexican citizens, have been identified by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance as Captain Alan Alejandro Montoya Perales, co-pilot Josue de Jesus Juarez Juarez, Dr. Raul Meza Arredondo, paramedic Rodrigo Lopez Padilla, patient Valentina Guzman Murillo, and her mother, Lizeth Murillo Ozuna. In a significant development on Sunday, NTSB investigators made a remarkable discovery by recovering the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) of the Learjet 55 involved in the crash. The CVR was unearthed at the site of the initial impact, located at a depth of 8 feet.
