Former president Thabo Mbeki said the theft of millions of rand in US dollars from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala game farm raises legitimate concerns about money laundering.

He said that the version presented about the origin of the money stolen in February 2020 from Ramaphosa's farm created a"natural" suspicion that the transaction was part of money laundering.
