The Subang MP says PH should not have made political appointments in the first place, but Muhyiddin supporter and PPBM MP Redzuan Yusof says it's all right. FMTNews PH PPBM
PKR’s Subang MP Wong Chen says political appointees should step down once there is a change of government.
He was commenting on a Malaysiakini report in which DAP chairman Tan Kok Wai said the party had decided that its members and leaders would not quit their positions in government regulatory bodies. “If these people in government bodies and government-linked companies were purely political appointees and not based on merit or ability, then logic dictates that once the political landscape changes, these appointees have to step down.
PPBM Supreme Council member Redzuan Yusof however said it was more important that political appointees remain non-partisan.
