The brand is on track to exceed its 2023 sales this year
Did you purchase a GAC vehicle in 2023? Congratulations, then—you’ve helped the Philippines become the fastest-growing market for the brand in the world.
Based on the 2023 report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines , GAC sold 1,943 units last year. The achievement was recognized by GAC Motor International in April, when it handed an award to officials from local distributor Astara Philippines.“We are deeply honored to personally receive this award from GAC Motor International in Guangzhou, China,” said Luis Torres, Astara Philippines CEO and country manager.
“We are immensely grateful to our customers for embracing the GAC brand and making our vehicles part of their lives,” said brand head Franz Decloedt. “This significant achievement further motivates and emboldens us at Astara Philippines to continue bringing in vehicles that provide the unmatched experience and outstanding quality that meet the mobility needs of every Filipino.”
