PGH nanawagan ng plasma donations matapos bumuti ang kondisyon ng ilang COVID19 patients

MAYNILA - Nananawagan ngayon ang Philippine General Hospital ng plasma donations mula sa mga nakarekober sa coronavirus disease 2019 matapos umano nilang mapaulat na may mga pasyente silang bumuti ang kalagayan matapos sumailalim sa convalescent plasma therapy.

Ayon kay PGH spokesman Dr. Jonas Del Rosario, nasa mahigit 50 porsiyento ang success rate ng pagka-rekober ng COVID-19 patients na sumasailalim dito. Kasalukuyang binibigay ang nasabing treatment sa mga pasyenteng kritikal ang kalagayan at pinag-aaralan nila kung kailan ito ibibigay sa mga pasyenteng "moderate" ang kalagayan.
