The eight episode second season kicks off on Thursday, Jan. 30, with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Thursday after that.season 2 cast are List, Manheim, Ventura, Zuckerman, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire Zomer. Maria Dizzia as Sandra Nears, Maddie’s mom, Patrick Gilmore as Mr. Anderson, and Ian Tracey as Sheriff Baxter.

Maneheim also shared his hopes for season 2: "I want a whole flashback — not of Wally playing football, just of Wally being the man in high school. I want to see him with all of his friends. I want to see maybe his girlfriend, Debbie Gibson, who he mentioned in episode 2 by the pool. I want to see his life. I want to see what other clothes he wore to school. Sorry. That's me just being selfish.
