Jacob Couch died after being attacked with a machete-type knife while sitting with his wife in Tucson.
Jacob Couch , 32, and his wife, Kristen Couch , were sitting on a bus bench in downtown Tucson when a man, later identified as 25-year-old Daniel Michael, approached them and yelled at them. Records showed that Jacob Couch said something back to the man, and that’s when he hit Jacob Couch in the neck with what his wife said was a machete-type knife.
Couch’s family said he died just a few hours after a community vigil was held for him outside Banner University Medical Center in Tucson.
