With doggie day care closed and being trapped indoors we need some tips on how to keep our dogs entertain?
My seven-year-old spayed goldendoodle bitch enjoys exercising in our local woodland area. She is constantly chewing and digesting small twigs and small fallen tree debris. This is evident in her faeces as macerated wood fragments. Is this a sign of a nutritional deficiency?Dear NG There are only a very few examples where dogs self-select foods because of a nutritional issue, and this is not one. She’s just a dog who loves chewing, typical of her breed and type.
