You can tell this young lady is happy, because her tail never stops wagging!
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Brin is a 6-month old, spayed female, black Labrador Retriever puppy looking for a new home. It’s easy to tell that she is always happy because her tail never stops wagging!
Brin arrived at the Fairbanks Animal Shelter as a stray on January 8. When she was dropped off she was not feeling too well, and when staff sent her to the vet they found that she had gotten into a bit of rat poison. Brin has just finished her 30-day round of treatments and is doing wonderfully now.
Since she was dropped off as a stray, no background information is available for Brin. However, the animal shelter says that she has been a sweet little bundle of energy who just wants to be friends with everybody. As a puppy, Brin will need a patient owner who is willing to work with her on obedience and basic commands as well as potty training and positive socialization. Staff say that she is a smart girl and eager to learn, and with a little bit of time and patience they are sure she’ll get it in no time.
