johorbahru covid19 Pakar anestesiologi di sebuah hospital swasta Johor Bahru berkongsi pengalaman mencemaskan pasukan kesihatan menstabilkan seorang pesakit Covid-19 yang pada mulanya stabil namun menjadi kritikal secara tiba-tiba, selama hampir 24 jam.
Dr Mafeitzeral Mamat ketika itu menyahut seruan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia sebagai sukarelawan barisan hadapan yang ditugaskan di wad unit rawatan rapi Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor, dari 6 hingga 26 April lalu.
"Ia bukanlah mudah kerana kami melakukannya dengan keadaan pesakit dalam koma di samping memastikan semua alatan seperti wayar pemantauan masih berfungsi. "Berminggu-minggu di ICU. Walaupun pesakit sudah pulih dari rawatan menggunakan ventilator, mereka perlu diberikan perhatian selama beberapa hari sebelum dihantar semula ke wad biasa," katanya.
"Tugas kami adalah untuk merawat dan memantau keadaan mereka pada setiap masa di ICU berikutan hampir kesemua pesakit mempunyai penyakit tidak berjangkit NCD seperti darah tinggi, sakit jantung dan kencing manis dengan virus Covid-19 ternyata menerukkan keadaan penyakit pesakit.
