Peru’s Congress is moving to remove interim President José Jerí after prosecutors opened a preliminary corruption probe over unreported meetings with two Chinese businessmen. On Tuesday, lawmakers were scheduled to vote on an impeachment motion to oust him. Jerí has held office for only four months.
